About the Speaker

Ursula Cottone

Chief Data & Architecture Officer, Huntington Bank

As the Chief Data & Architecture Officer at Huntington Bank since 2018, Ursula is focused on building a best-in-class data and analytics team focused on business-focused outcomes of improving the customer experience, growing revenues, driving operational efficiency, and reducing risk for the bank.  Dedicated to enabling innovation and solving pain points by executing against an enterprise data strategy and delivering the necessary capabilities, including a strong data management and governance program, an innovative Artificial Intelligence center of excellence and an industrialized data engineering team to support both. Her goal is to have Huntington actively manage data as an enterprise asset to make lives better, help businesses thrive, and strengthen the communities we serve.  

Ursula brings to Huntington 25 years of experience in Banking (in a variety of roles across business segments and technology), including 10 years as a Chief Data Officer. Prior to joining Huntington, Ursula was the Chief Data Officer at Citizens Bank.  She also spent 17 years at Key Bank where she held various roles of increasing responsibility including Chief Administrative Officer for Capital Markets, Shared Services Leader, and Chief Data Officer.

Ursula holds a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University. In addition, she is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the University of Chicago Strategic Business Leadership program.

Ursula is currently on the board of directors for Directions for Youth and Families in Columbus, as well as the American Heart Association Central Ohio.  She has been active in her community serving on the boards and working committees of the Centers for Families and Children, Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio (MAHO), Junior League of Cleveland, Leadership Cleveland, and the United Way of Cleveland.

Ursula resides in Grandview Heights, Ohio with her dog, Oliver.
